How to remove a person from a photo on iPhone 15 Pro
The iPhone 15 Pro was the first iPhone to support Apple Intelligence — so it has Clean Up, while the regular iPhone 15 does not. Here's how to use it and when to reach for something stronger.
Your iPhone 15 Pro / 15 Pro Max can use Clean Up.
The A17 Pro chip supports Apple Intelligence. On iOS 18.1 or later, open the photo, tap Edit › Clean Up, and brush over the person.
Important: only the Pro models
This is the one iPhone 15 generation where the model matters. The 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max have Clean Up; the regular iPhone 15 and 15 Plus do not, because they use the older A16 chip without Apple Intelligence. See the regular iPhone 15.
